2014 Thanksgivings Day

It was a true New England Thanksgivings Day celebration. Will helped Mom drive from Traverse City, MI to Amanda, Duncan and Allison's new home in New Canaan, CT. As Hal, Holly and Teddy live in nearby New Haven, CT, we all met at Amanda's for dinner. Amanda and Duncan have purchased a 100 year old home that is updated but maintains the charm of its past. The turkey was moist, the trimmings delicious and the desserts delectable. Holly looked up some meaningful quotations about being grateful and we shared them at dinner. A quick game after dinner and before bedtime capped a delightful day together. We are grateful.
